For almost two centuries, The GlenDronach Distillery has been producing the finest sherried single malts from its historical home in the Highlands of Scotland. James Allardice founded the distillery in 1826, and it was later purchased by William Teacher & Sons in 1960. In 2008, The BenRiach Distillery Company oversaw a complete renaissance of the distillery. The GlenDronach Distillery was named Global Whisky Distiller of the Year at the 2015 Icons of Whisky Awards and continues to thrive as a small, privately-owned distillery. The GlenDronach Revival 15 Year Old Single Malt was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2009 Malt Maniacs Awards. It is a rich and satisfying whiskey with a heavy sherry influence, offering hints of chocolate and coffee before finishing with a dry note.
