Widow Jane's The Vaults 15 year old Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an exclusive bottling. Carefully selected by Widow Jane's President and Head Distiller Lisa Wicker, it is a blend of 15 and 17 year old bourbons sourced from Tennessee and Indiana. The whiskey is matured in Appalachian oak casks that are air-seasoned for an extended period of 60 months, 2.5 times longer than the usual air-drying practices of 1-2 years. This small batch whiskey has an undisclosed mash bill and is bottled at 49.5% ABV. Only available in limited quantities to select retailers, this bourbon boasts a rich aroma of creamy eggy custard, butter, and oranges seasoned with nutmeg. On the palate, one can taste notes of dried cherries, roasted walnuts, and vanilla-cinnamon toast.
