Rhetoric 22 Year Old Bourbon is an exceptional offering from the Orphan Barrel Project, a brand known for its meticulously crafted whiskeys. This particular release is the third in the annual Rhetoric bottlings, which showcase the effects of extended aging on a familiar-tasting bourbon. Distilled in 1994, the barrels used for Rhetoric 22-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey were discovered in the old Stitzel-Weller warehouses. As the eighth release from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company, Rhetoric 22 is aged for two years longer than the first release, resulting in a slightly more mature and higher proof whiskey. The series will continue to be progressively aged and re-released annually, allowing whiskey enthusiasts to collect and compare the whiskeys side-by-side.
