This limited expression of Don Julio Reposado Tequila Rosado boasts a blush of pink and the delightful sweetness of summer strawberries. Aged in select French oak Ruby Port wine casks, imported from the Douro region of Portugal, this tequila is masterfully crafted. Matured for at least four months in these superior casks, this 100% agave tequila has a candied sweetness that is irresistible and easy to drink. Don Julio ensured that each agave plant was allowed to mature fully before harvesting. He carefully selected only the most succulent portions and slowly roasted them for 72-hour cycles. The result is an aromatic blend of summer berries, spice, and dark fruits that perfectly complement the palate of plums, smoked cocoa, and raspberries coated in sticky caramel.
