Old Forester's latest release, the 117 Series 1910 Extra Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, hit the market in February 2022. This exceptional whiskey draws inspiration from the popular fan-favorite, 1910 Old Fine Whisky, but takes things up a notch with an extra 18 months of aging. For this third edition of the 117 Series, the Old Forester 1910 Fine Whisky is aged for a minimum of 4 years in charred oak barrels, and then transferred to secondary barrels that are double-charred, where it is left to mature for an additional 18 months. The result is an "extra old" whiskey with a unique and complex flavor profile. With an extremely limited release, the 117 Series 1910 Extra Old Fine Whisky is composed of a mash bill containing 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, and is bottled at a finished barrel strength of 46.5% ABV.
