Tapatio Anejo is aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels, previously used to age whisky. It is medium-bodied, with an intense straw yellow color that is slightly amber with golden hues. Aromas of sweet cooked agave fill the nose, along with vanilla and caramel that give way to subtle aromas of cinnamon and other spices. The aromas translate over to the palate and ends with a soft, silky and very long finish with spices that persist in the back of the palate.
